What’s dinner without a delicious cake for dessert??  If you’re looking for a fun Angel Food Pineapple Dessert, I’ve got just the thing… 2-Ingredient Pineapple Angel Food Cake!

Not only is this twist on angel food cake light and yummy… it’s super easy ~ I’m talking 2 ingredients easy!!

Serve after cake has cooled, topped with some shaved coconut {if you are a coconut fanatic like I am}… and add some whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream!  {you know you want to!}  It’s delish… I promise!

INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 box (1-step) angel food cake mix (I use Betty Crocker)
  • 1 large can (about 20 ounces) crushed pineapple, undrained
HOW TO MAKE:
  1. Heat oven to 350F degrees.
  2. In a large bowl, stir together the dry cake and the entire can of crushed pineapple with its juice. Stir well until all the dry mix is incorporated. (The mixture will get really foamy.)
  3. Pour the batter into a 9×13 pan. (DO NOT GREASE THE PAN.)
  4. Bake at 350F degrees for time specified on the box for size pan. When the sides pull away from pan and toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, the cake is done. (About 30-40 minutes for a 9×13-inch pan.)
  5. Remove from the oven and place on a wire rack to cool.
